Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 3/4th cup moong dal
  2. 3 cupswater
  3. 1tomato
  4. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  5. Cumin seeds
  6. leavesCurry
  7. 1-2chilli
  8. 1 tspghee
  9. 0.5 tspchilli powder
  10. Pinchturmeric
  11. Salt
  12. Pinchhing
  13. 1 tspjaggery

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a cooker take ghee + cumin seeds + ginger garlic paste + tomato and sauté well. Add chilli as well

  2. 2

    Now add salt + turmeric + jaggery + chilli powder + hing to it

  3. 3

    Add washed moong dal + water (4-5 cups) based on consistency you need. Pressure cook for 5 whistle

  4. 4

    Now prepare tadka by heating cumin seeds + ginger + Aamchur powder + curry leaves. Add it to cooked dal. Garnish this with coriander leaves.
