Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrefined flour
  2. 2 tbsp wheat flour
  3. 1 teaspoonjeera
  4. 1 teaspooncarom seeds
  5. As neededoil for frying
  6. 2 tablespoons ghee
  7. As neededsalt
  8. As neededwater
  9. 1small bowl chanadal spilt chick peas soaked in water
  10. 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  11. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  13. 2chopped onions
  14. 1/2 teaspoonhing
  15. 1chopped tomato
  16. 2 teaspoonsjeera - dhaniya powder
  17. 1 teaspooncrushed ginger
  18. Few curry pata
  19. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl put refined flour & wheat flour add the ghee, salt jeera, carrom seeds mix well, add water to the bowl little by little and mix make a slightly tight dough spread oil and cover it

    Rest for twenty minutes, after that remove it and mix the dough again, make balls from the dough and roll it and poke by the fork and keep aside.

    Put oil in the pan deep fry all pakwan until the colour is red&crispy

    Dal_ first soaked Chana dal for two hours in water then boiled in pressure cooker with adding turmeric powder, red chilli powder salt give one whistle and wait for pressure goes naturally from the pressure cooker,

    Now heat the pan add oil, then jeera, hing, curry pata fry lightly add chopped onions, saute add boiled chana dal mix well add jeera and dhaniya add ginger add garam masala powder mix well now add garam masala powder mix all and saute it until the dal is nicely cooked, tasty dal pakwan is ready.
