Pancake mix drop biscuits

I used these for biscuits & gravy. Look for my Beef & bacon milk gravy recipe. These are kind of delicate, I've used them for breakfast sandwiches, but they fall apart easily. *This is a nice biscuit base for flavors. I like to add garlic powder and cheddar cheese. Or recreate Red Lobsters Cheddar Bay Biscuits.*

Living up in the mountains, not always having the gas, time, or best weather conditions to get to town for groceries. We run out of things quickly and I have to use what I have. Though I now have a stove and oven, many of my recipes here were from when I didnt. I've had to get quite creative, and find other ways to cook. Like in a toaster oven and an electric skillet. I thought if anyone else has my same issues it'd be great to share my simple minimalist recipes. And find some great ones too.

I did the same substitution as you Terri. My oven must cook lower than the one used in the recipe because I had to almost double the cooking time at 400 degrees. They were absolutely delicious. They were so similar to the ones my Mom made from scratch that eating them brought back wonderful memories of eating her’s all together with my entire family. Those were very happy times!
