Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 11/2 cupthin variety of flatten rice(poha)
  2. 1medium onion finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  4. 2 tbspsugar powder
  5. 1/2lemon (juice)
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. For tempering :
  8. 2 tspoil
  9. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  10. 1/4 tsptumeric powder
  11. 2green chillies finely chopped
  12. leavesfew curry
  13. 1/4 tspasafoetida (hing)
  14. To garnish :
  15. 2 tspfried peanuts
  16. 2 tspspicy channa dal namkeen
  17. 2 tspfinely chopped tomato pieces
  18. Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves as required

Cooking Instructions

    Seive flatten rice /poha,to remove powder part from it. Wash it strainer and keep aside for 2 mins.

    Add & mix chopped onion, grated coconut,sugar powder, salt and squeeze lemon juice on it. Mix gently.

    In small tadka pan add, heat oil. Add mustard seeds,as it splutter add tumeric powder, chopped green chillies, curry leaves,hing.(As I had fried peanutsso didn't fry, but you can fry raw peanuts in oil, in this tadka pan, before preparing tadka)

    Pour this tadka on soaked poha- onion-coconut mixture. Keep cover for 5-10 minutes. Mix gently.

    Serve/ Relish Delicious Dadpe Poha, garnishing with fried peanuts, channa dal namkeen and tomato pieces,corainder leaves in breakfast.
