Cooking Instructions

Fur Dhuska - Soak Rice & Chana Dal separately overnight. Strain and put in a blender alongwith ginger, green chillies, garlic, water and blend well. Consistency should be semi thick, once done add onion, coriander, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and beat well.

In a wok heat oil and on medium flame put a ladle of the batter and fry. Flip the other side after a minute, fry golden in colour. The centre should swell. Dhuska is done, set aside.

For Aloo rasa- Boil potatoes and cool, peel and make 1” cut sizes. In a wok heat oil, add asafoetida, cumin seeds and when splutters add potatoes. Stir for 2-3 mins, add coriander powder, ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies and stir well.

Add water and add salt, stir well. Add coriander leaves chopped and once a semi thick consistency is reached dey aside.

Plate and enjoy hot Dhuska
