Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cupoil
  2. 1/3 cupcurd
  3. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  4. 1 cupmaida
  5. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  6. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  7. 3/4 cupmilk +4 cups milk
  8. as requiredLittle elaichi powder
  9. as requiredChopped dryfruits (badam and pistachios) for garnishing
  10. 8-10 strandssaffron soaked in milk

    In a bowl, add oil, curd, sugar and mix well

    Seive maida, baking powder, baking soda strain it and mix well

  3. 3

    Add 3/4 cup milk gradually and mix well. Cake batter is ready

  4. 4

    Grease cake tin with butter and put batter in it

  5. 5

    Preheat oven at 180 for 10 minutes and bake it at 180 for 30 minutes

    For rabdi: in another pan, add 4 cups milk, elaichi powder, saffron milk on high flame till it gets boiled

  7. 7

    Then boil it on low flame till milk thickens and reduces to half. Rabdi is ready. Let it get semi cool

    When cake is baked let it get cool cut it in pieces. Make pricks on cake using fock

  9. 9

    Pour rabdi on cake and garnish it with dryfruits
