Ingredients

  1. ForIdli batter:
  2. 1 tspoil
  3. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  4. 1 tspurad dal (soaked)
  5. 1 tbspcashew nuts
  6. 5-6curry leaves
  7. 1 tspfinely green chillies
  8. For Sambar:
  9. 3/4 cuptoovar dal
  10. 2drumsticks in 3" pieces
  11. 1/2 cuplauki cubes
  12. 1/2 cuppotato cubes
  13. 2 tbspoil
  14. 1 tspmustard seeds
  15. 6-7curry leaves
  16. pinchhing
  17. 1/2 cuptomatoes chopped
  18. 8small onions
  19. 2 1/2 tbspimlli pulp
  20. 3 tbspsambar powder
  21. 2 tspchilli powder
  22. 1 tspHaldi powder
  23. As requiredSalt
  24. 2 tbspcoriander
  25. For Coconut chutney:
  26. 1 cupgrated coconut
  27. 2small green chillies
  28. 1 tspgrated ginger
  29. 1 tbsproasted chana
  30. As requiredSalt
  31. For tempering:
  32. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  33. 1dry red chilli
  34. 2-3curry leaves
  35. 1 tspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, make sambar as first boil the dal in cooker & steam the veggies separately & keep aside.

    Now make sambar tadka by adding tomatoes & all spices then cook it well & combine all together.

    Now make chutney by adding all Ingredients in jar & grind it.

    Now prepare tadka for chutney & temper over it.

    Now making batter by heat Kadai & roast all spices then add in sooji & leaves it for 20 minutes meanwhile heat the water.

    Now put the batter in stand & steam it& South Indian dish ready.
