Cooking Instructions
- 1
Melt both sugar, syrup, salt and butter together on low heat in a big saucepan. Once all melted turn the heat off.
- 2
Add dry ingredients together in a big mixing bowl (flour, spices power)
- 3
Pour the wet ingredients into the mixing bowl with dry ingredients.
- 4
Mix well until all the ingredients combine and start to form to a soft ball.
- 5
Rest your dough in the fridge for 15-20 min. While waiting for dough to rest you can cut up your gingerbread house template.
- 6
Once your dough rested, use 2 big pieces of baking paper just enough to cover your dough. Place your dough on one baking paper and place another one over. Use your rolling pin start to roll them out from the middle of your dough until you get about half of centimetres thick.
- 7
Cut out the required shapes. You can also cut up some Christmassy shapes like tree, snowman any other character you prefer.
- 8
Id you have some leftover dough you can roll them out thinly into a big shape and cut to make an edible base. I cut out into big circle to make a base.
- 9
Bake them in the oven on 130’c - 150’c for 12-15 min (you need to keep an eye on them as they cook quite quickly) I normally know when my gingerbread cooked is when your house smell of gingerbread 🥰.
- 10
Time to decorate, mixing icing sugar and white egg together (you can use water) and use it to combine your house together. Put your creative hat one and make your gingerbread house looks gorgeous.

It's troublesome to make your own cookies, so I found a way to make a gingerbread house--easy but cute!!It's cute to make a ladder using pocky, and decorating the roof with pretty gummies!Slightly enlarge the hole on the icing bag at the end, and put icing on the roof. It looks like snow!If you made a mistake, scrape with a spoon or knife. Recipe by Ayayan cookpad.japan -

Decorated Cookie House Hexen (Witch) House Decorated Cookie House Hexen (Witch) House
I wanted to make this from scratch, starting with the pattern. I made a cookie dough that's easy to handle, but also neutral and delicious to eat. Please use the pattern dimensions as a reference. If you are making your own original pattern, if you calculate in the thickness of the dough in you'll have less problems when you assemble the house.Measure out exactly 50 g of egg.If you add icing to the inside of the house to strengthen the joints, the house will become sturdy. Every year around Christmas season with my family, we decorate these cookies. You'll get sick of decorating them by nights end because the recipe yields about 6 dozen! But they're really good cookies if I say so myself!! Thanks to my photographer hubby Mike to always make a nice picture out of something so simple! kokomayla -

Christmas Cookie House Christmas Cookie House
About 3 years ago, I saw a small cookie house on sale at a neighborhood French pastry shop for more than 3,000 yen, so I tried making my own.Since then, my child has been looking forward to making one every year, so this year I decided to make it again although I'm fighting morning sickness (I'm pregnant with my 2nd child) .Use leftover icing (that you used to stick the house together) to make icicles hang under the roof, or make snow drifts around the decorative pieces on the outside, and so on. I have fun varying the decoration every year.I used store-bought candies as decoration. Even small children love to look at the decorations. This year I glued a brick patterned chimney, and colored the exterior walls with red food coloring to color it slightly pink. I also made the tree 3D. Recipe by sakura'03 cookpad.japan
