Ingredients

1-2 portion
  1. 1/2 bowlrice
  2. 1/2 bowldal (green daal)
  3. 4 bowlswater (4x rice and daal mixture)
  4. 1/4 teaspoonhaldi
  5. 1 teaspoonJeera powder (to taste)
  6. to taste Salt (2 tbsp to start and then more as needed after making)

Cooking Instructions

    Mix rice and daal in a bowl and wash it well (rinse thrice). Leave aside after washing

    Add oil to pressure cooker. Once heater, add and cook zeera

  3. 3

    Add rice and dal mixture to the pressure cooker

  4. 4

    Add salt and haldi and mix well

  5. 5

    Add water to the pressure cooker, close and cook for 16 mins

  6. 6

    Add salt to taste and serve
