  6. 4 tbspyoghurt
  7. 1 tbspvinegar
  8. 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda

  11. 1 cupwhipping cream
  12. 1 cupcrushed oreo biscuits
  13. 12oreo biscuits
  14. 1/4 cupchocolate ganache

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

Take plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl and sieve it. Preheat oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

Add sugar to melted butter or oil and mix it very well. In another bowl, add yoghurt with one tablespoon of water and whisk it well. Now add vinegar and baking soda to to the yoghurt mixture and whisk it so that the foam will appear.

  3. 3

Now in the flour mixture, add yoghurt mixture, sugar mixture, water and vanilla essence. Mix everything very well. Mix everything quickly to make a smooth and lump free cake batter.

  4. 4

Pour prepared batter in a greased baking tin and tap the tin lightly so that air bubbles will come out. Now bake the cake at 180 degree for 35 to 40 minutes. Check with the help of a knife if the cake is done or not. If the knife comes out clean, the cake is ready otherwise it needs to be baked for a few more minutes.

  5. 5

Let it cool down for 20 minutes at room temperature. Now take it out from the tin and put it on a wire rack so that it does not become soggy. Cover the cake with thick cloth and let it get completely cooled before frosting. When it cools down cut it horizontally into 3 circles.

  6. 6

Take whipping cream in a big bowl and beat it until soft peaks appear. Now add crushed oreo to it and mix it very well.

  7. 7

Now take one circle of the chocolate sponge and apply prepared oreo cream on it and level it. Repeat this with all the the circles. Now cover the full cake with the oreo cream and smoothen it. Now with a squeezy bottle, drip chocolate ganache on the sides. Pipe flowers on the cake with a piping bag and pour some more ganache in the centre. Add one oreo biscuit between each flower. Add some biscuit crumbs in the middle on top of the ganache. You can do any kind of frosting you wish for.

  8. 8

Chocolate oreo cake is ready to be served.
