  1. Marinade
  2. 1tablespoon soy sauce
  3. 1teaspoon sesame oil
  4. 3dashes white pepper
  5. 1tablespoon cornstarch
  6. Brown Sauce
  7. 1tablespoon soy sauce
  8. 1tablespoon oyster sauce
  9. 1/4teaspoon sesame oil
  10. 1/2teaspoon sugar
  11. 1teaspoon corn starch
  12. 4tablespoons water
  13. Other Ingredients
  14. Beef tenderloin, cut into pieces
  15. Broccoli water, for boiling
  16. Olive oil
  17. Ginger, peeled and sliced

    Marinade the beef and biarkan for about 15 mins (I letak kat peti sejuk)

    Bring the water to boil and add a few drops of oil. Blanch the broccoli in the hot water, about 10 seconds. Remove the broccoli immediately with a strainer or slotted spoon, draining the excess water. Set aside. Do the same for beef (untuk lembutkan the daging).

    Now comes the sauce part! Mix the ingredients altogether to get that delicious and authentic brown sauce. The brown sauce should be light and not starchy or sticky. It should just barely coat the beef.

    Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until 70% cooked. Dish out and set aside.

    Heat the remaining oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add the ginger and stir-fry until aromatic. Transfer the beef into the wok or skillet and stir-fry until the beef is cooked through and the center of the meat is no longer pink, about 1-2 minutes. Add the broccoli and then the sauce, stir to combine the ingredients well.

    As soon as the sauce thickens, dish out and serve immediately.
