This is a recipe that I often do at home and is enjoyed by everyone. I didn't know this until my mother in law taught me. It is a very special dish as it has amazing medicinal properties. It is a dish that is a must for people having stomach and mouth ulcers. Old people who take in a lot of tablets and thus have stomach ulcers and girls above the age of 15 should have this. The amount of saaru / soup that you are adding in the rice must be twice the amount of rice taken. It's something that all of us would love to make as it is simple, healthy and tasty.
I will say it is a MUST TRY!!

*Tips:
1. In the case of manathakkali keerai / Black night shade, take it along with the flowers and the fruits they bear as this adds on to the nutrition content of the keerai.
2. While washing rice don't use the water that you used to wash the rice for the first time. Use the water that you used to wash the rice for the second and the third time.
3. If you can't get manathakkali keerai / Black night shade you can also make this dish with moringa leaves.
