Vrat Special Idli
Cooking Instructions

Wash and Soak sama rice and sago in water for 2 hours in separate bowls.

Transfer soaked sago in a mixer. Transfer sama rice along water in a mixer. Add rock salt and grind to a smooth paste. Transfer the paste in a mixing bowl.

For making chutney :
Add coconut pieces in a mixer. Add peanuts, sesame seeds, green chilli and ginger. Add salt and 1/2 bowl of water and Grind it to a smooth paste. - 4
Tadka:
Heat 1/2 tsp Cooking Oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add sesame seeds and saute for 1 minute. Add curry leaves and saute for 1 minute. Transfer it in chutney. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix. - 5
Now grease a idli mould. Heat water in a pressure cooker.

Mix sago rice paste and add eno fruit salt and mix. Now Add 2 tb spoon sama rice and sago paste in each mould. Place the mould in pressure cooker and cover the lid and steam for 12 minutes on medium flame. Do knife test if it comes clean then idli is ready.

Serve hot with chutney and rasedar aloo curry.
