  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 1 cupyellow moong dal
  3. 1onion1 Tomato
  4. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  5. 2 tbspghee
  6. 1 tspcumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1 tsphing
  9. 5-6pepper corns
  10. 3cloves
  11. 7-8 cupswater
  12. 1 tsphaldi
  13. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  14. 1coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Soak moong and rice for 1/2 hour

    In a cooker add ghee make a tempering of cummin,hing,clove and peppercorns.Now add Ginger garlic paste and onion.Cook for 2 mins

    Add tomato or any vegetables of your choice.Add all dry spices.add rice and moong add water.cook for 3 whistles.Cool down.serve with papad and curd
