Ingredients

30 mins
3 as a side
  1. 7large carrots
  2. 60 gsalted butter
  3. 3large cloves garlic
  4. 2 tspground cumin
  5. 2 tspdried mixed herbs
  6. Ground black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 190°c (fan)

    Peel the carrots and cut the ends off. Chop the carrots in half vertically. Place them on a baking tray. Set aside.

    Put the butter into a small bowl and melt completely. Crush/finely chop garlic and add it to the butter. Then add the cumin, herbs and pepper to the butter. Mix well.

    Evenly cover the carrots with all of the butter mixture. I use a pastry brush for this. But you can use anything you like. Just make sure all the carrots are coated.

    Put into the oven for 30 minutes or until the carrots are soft and slightly brown on the edges.
