Ingredients

  1. As Required Halfkg of okra or bhindi
  2. 2bayleaf
  3. 2dalchini
  4. 2cloves
  5. 2onions chopped fine
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 2 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tspcoriander powder
  9. 1 tspcumin powder
  10. 1 tspsugar
  11. As Per TasteSalt
  12. As RequiredJuice of a lime

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and dry the okra thoroughly.

    Then cut slightly both the ends of the okra and make a slit cut in between the okra and then cut in half

    In a bowl mix all the powder masalas and salt and sugar

  4. 4

    Take a heavy bottom Kadai and pour 2 tbsp of oil in it let it heat

  5. 5

    Then add the bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon stick, and let all this crackle.

    Then add the cut onions and saute them lightly.

    After 2 minutes add the okra and saute it for 7 to 8 minutes. The stickiness of okra will go if u saute the vegetable.

    Add the juice of a lime and saute again for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Then add the masala mix to the okra and let it coat the vegetable thoroughly.

    Mix all this nicely and remove all the masala which coats the vessel you are cooking and mix it again with the veggie.

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
