Easy Mascarpone, bacon and chilli pasta

Ingredients

  1. 1& 1/2 cup macaroni pasta
  2. Bacon lardons
  3. 1medium onion
  4. 1 tspgochujang chilli sauce
  5. 1 tsphoney
  6. 1/2 tubMascarpone
  7. Cheddar cheese
  8. 1spring onion (finely chopped)

Cooking Instructions

    Place your pasta in a pot of boiling water and cook as per the packaging instructions. I used macaroni so it took 20 minutes. You can use any kind of pasta you have

    Whilst the pasta is cooked in a separate frying pan, fry your lardons and sliced onion until the bacon is crispy.

    Turn off the heat and stir in your chilli sauce and honey. Set aside

  4. 4

    Once pasta is cooked, drain and return to the pot. Add in your Mascarpone cheese and sprinkle in some grated cheddar for extra cheesy flavour whilst the pasta is still hot.

    Stir in your bacon and chilli mixture and season well to taste.

    Plate and sprinkle over a generous helping of spring onion. Enjoy.
