When I first moved to London I was suffering a bad cold as I househunted and was staying with my good friends Andrew & Jenny. Andrew made me this “cure” and I’ve sworn by it ever since. This time I made it with “K.I.S Chicken stock [KEEP IT SIMPLE]” from a Cookpad Cook “Phil”. John Lynch -

Chicken Tortilla Soup with Rice Chicken Tortilla Soup with Rice
A hearty soup with rice served over tortilla chips. Its simple seasoning makes it a warm dish that kids will love. The origin of this recipeI was inspired by a recipe from a children's magazine called Jack & Jill, which my 8-year-old son receives. I was drawn to the combination of soup with rice and chips, so I made some adjustments to the ingredients and method to suit my taste. My family enjoyed it together.Burky

This soup was always my favorite when I was a child. As I grew up, my grandma gave me the recipe, but she used a product called soup starter for most of it I found. I wanted a more scratch soup with basic ingredients. I think I nailed it! Now its my son's favorite soup too! kate -

This is a family recipe from my dear mother. She had her own way of making the soup, just like my grandmother and aunts. She used to say when we were little that chicken noodle soup is essential for children because it includes chicken, vegetables, and kids love it. MaggieTranslated from Cookpad Mexico -
