Indian Cuisine: White Fish Coconut Curry Indian Cuisine: White Fish Coconut Curry
For a long time, I've been wanting to try an Indian curry using fresh fish, which is easily obtainable in Japan. I tried such a curry at a restaurant, and after having experimented twice, it turned out delicious. If you want to increase the variety of vegetables you eat, asparagus and mini tomatoes go well with this dish.・If you've never tried chili pepper or cayenne pepper before, see my diary from June 2009 regarding the adjustment of spiciness.・If you have about 3-4 asparagus, and/or about 6 to 9 mini tomatoes in your refrigerator, cut the former into about 10 cm in length, the latter into half, and add at Step 13. Desi-style chana aloo is a spicy, flavorful, and delicious curry. If you want to make a special vegetable dish that's different from paneer, and you don't have any green vegetables on hand or have guests over, definitely try this! It's also very easy to make, and if you have pre-cooked chickpeas, it doesn't take much time to prepare. Sudha AgrawalTranslated from Cookpad India -

Our Family Recipe for Coconut Milk Curry Our Family Recipe for Coconut Milk Curry
One day my husband said, "The curry we learned how to cook in school was delicious. I want to have some." I combined the curry I saw once in a magazine (that I vaguely remembered) with the curry I learned in school (again, a vague memory)... and miraculously it was delicious! I made it a lot for a while, so I looked over my notes and uploaded the recipe. This is just a basic version. I change up the vegetables I add every time. Try adding green peppers, carrot, celery or whatever you like.If you can't get cinnamon sticks, use powdered cinnamon. You can either add it to the spices rubbed into the chicken, or add it at Step 8 with the ● ingredients. The ◎ garlic, ginger, and red chili pepper don't have to be taken out if they've fallen apart in the curry. The yogurt mentioned in Step 15 is a peach, orange, pineapple and banana mix. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by Sabumochi cookpad.japan
