Ingredients

  1. 4 cuprava
  2. 2 cupbesan
  3. 1 1\2 cup ghee to roast the rava
  4. 3/4 cupghee to roast the besan
  5. 1/4 cupmilk
  6. 4 1/2 cupsugar
  7. 2 1/4 cup. - water
  8. 1 tbsCardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 1 1/2 cup ghee in a pan. Add rava. Roast the rava 5 minutes on high flame then switch the gas on low flame and roast the rava for another 10 minutes on low flame or till it becomes light pink in colour.

    Remove the rava from pan and keep it aside. In a same pan add 3/4 cup ghee. Add beasn and roast it on high flame for one minute Then switch the gas on low flame and roast beasn for another 5 to 6 minutes or till it becomes pink in colour and aromatic.

    Now add 1/4 cup milk in beasan. Switch off the gas. Mix it well. Again roast it for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame.

    Now switch off the gas. Add roasted rava in besan mix well and keep it aside.

    Heat another pan on medium flame. Add sugar and water. Boil and stir continuously till it becomes one string consistency. Switch off the gas.

    Add sugar syrup in a mixture of besan and rava. Mix well. Keep aside for minimum 2 or maximum 5 to 6 hours. After each 1/2 an hour interval mix the mixture well. Add cardamom powder. Mix well.

    Now the mixture is ready to make ladoo. Delicious ladoo is ready to eat.
