Sweet Vermicelli, or Meethi Seviyan, is a sweet dessert made with vermicelli, ghee, sugar, cardamom, and nuts specially for eid.
This is also called Semiya Kesari. A perfect one-pot sweet dessert that can be made in just 15 to 20 minutes.

Ingredients

20 minutes
Eid Special
  1. 1 bowlVermicelli
  2. 1 tbspGhee
  3. 3 tbspsugar
  4. 1/2 bowlwater
  5. 2 tbspcashew almond flakes
  6. 1 tbspraisins
  7. 1/2 tspcardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Take ghee in a pan.
    Add Vermicelli and roast on slow flame till it changes the colour.then remove it in the dish.

    In the same bowl add water.
    When water boils add roasted vermicelli and mix once.
    When water evaporates, add sugar and half of cashew almond flakes and raisins,mix well.

    When sugar dessolves,
    Switch off the flame and transfer the vermicelli in a serving dish
    Sprinkle remaining nut flakes and raisins.
    Serve hot and enjoy Eid special Sweet Vermicelli.
