Ingredients

  1. 400 gmmangoes or 2 large alphonso or 3, 4 any type of mango
  2. 1/2 teaspooncardamom powder
  3. 1 pinchsaffron strands
  4. 2-3 spoonsugar or jaggery any sweetener of your choice
  5. 1/4 teaspoondry ginger powder - optional
  6. 1/2 cupwater or milk as required- optional
  7. 2-3 pieces (Chopped)Almonds

    Rinse the alphonso mangoes thoroughly in clean water. Drain all the water and dry them with a clean kitchen towel.

    Peel and chop the mangoes.

    Add the chopped mangoes to a blender. You can also add some sugar or any other sweetener of choice if the mangoes are slightly tangy or sour. Add cardamom powder and crushed saffron strands.

    Add some milk (dairy or vegan) or water. Blend to a smooth pulp.

    Pour in a container. Cover the container and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour. Or you can serve straightaway in small bowls.garnished with almonds.enjoy with pooris!
