Homestyle Chickpea Curry from Northern India (Chana Masala) Homestyle Chickpea Curry from Northern India (Chana Masala)
I used to have this chana (chickpea) curry a lot back at home. Curries with lots of spices, oil and cream are only eaten occasionally, and everyday Indian cooking is very simple. This curry is a great way of incorporating high quality protein in your diet in vegetarian India.Indian curries are tastier if they're a bit spicy.Adding a little lemon juice at the end makes this curry tastier too. Punjabi Chana Masala Punjabi Chana Masala
Punjabi Chana Masala is very delicious. Today, I made it without onions and garlic, using only tomatoes and ginger, and it turned out great. Chickpeas are loved by everyone and taste wonderful. White (Kabuli) chickpeas contain copper, which helps maintain healthy blood flow in the body. Kabuli chickpeas are also a good source of iron, so including them in your diet can help prevent anemia. Eating chickpeas can also help with weight loss, as they help control hunger. pinky makhijaTranslated from Cookpad India -
