Paniyaram/Guntaponganalu (Using leftover idly/dosa batter)

Ingredients

20 mins
  1. 2 cupsdosa batter idli/
  2. 1/4 cuprice flour
  3. 1onion
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1 tspcumin seeds
  6. 1 tbspncoriander leaves chopped
  7. 1 tbspncurry leaves chopped
  8. pinchhing
  9. as requiredsalt
  10. as requiredoil

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl take idli/dosa batter, add rice flour and mix well.

    Add chopped onions, cumin, greenchillies, hing, coriander and curry leaves.

  3. 3

    Heat a paniyaram chatti, pour few drops of oil in each mould. Later, add the batter in each mould using a spoon or small ladle.

    Close it with a lid and let it cook for few mins.

  5. 5

    Remove the lid and turn on to the other side using a wooden stick or spoon.

  6. 6

    Cook till crisp and transfer the paniyarams to a casserole or bowl.

    Serve with chutney or sambar.
