Spooky Witches Fingers
An easy cookie recipe that turns out into very spooky cookies! I used strawberry jam under the almonds to fake the blood under nails
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 325?F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheets.
- 2
Combine the butter, sugar, egg, almond extract, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Beat together with an electric mixer; gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt, continually beating; refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes.
- 3
Remove dough from refrigerator in small amounts. Scoop 1 heaping teaspoon at a time onto a piece of waxed paper. Use the waxed paper to roll the dough into a thin finger-shaped cookie.
- 4
Press one almond into one end of each cookie to give the appearance of a long fingernail.
- 5
Squeeze cookie near the tip and again near the center of each to give the impression of knuckles.
- 6
You can also cut into the dough with a sharp knife at the same points to help give a more finger-like appearance.
- 7
Arrange the shaped cookies on the baking sheets.
- 8
Bake in the preheated oven until the cookies are slightly golden in color, 20 to 25 minutes.
- 9
Remove the almond from the end of each cookie; squeeze a small amount of red decorating gel into the cavity; replace the almond to cause the gel to ooze out around the tip of the cookie.

Scary Halloween Breakfast Sausage Fingers Scary Halloween Breakfast Sausage Fingers
It's almost Halloween, so I made pancakes with witch's fingers. It takes some patience to cut and shape the fingernails, especially if you're making a lot, but these are perfect for Halloween parties. Every time I make them, they manage to frighten me! They're so realistic, you might even make some people scream! The longer the fingernails, the more realistic the effect. It's important to make shallow cuts for the finger joints to make it realistic. Frying the sausage makes them more "finger-like" too.(Recipe by AlohaDays.) cookpad.japan -
Frosted Cookies Halloween Ghosts Frosted Cookies Halloween Ghosts
I adapted the cookie recipe from one in a cookbook called "DIA Collection's Frosted Cookie Decoration Recipe." I think that this only needs black icing instead of several colors, which simplifies the recipe. For the icing tip, even a 1mm icing tip may be too wide. It's easier to cut a tip off a plastic icing or piping bag so you can draw a thin line. You can use the cheap ones.Makes 80 cookies.(Recipe by xxsayumixx) cookpad.japan -

Halloween Ghost Sandwiches Halloween Ghost Sandwiches
I make charaben for my kindergarten aged son.He is a slow and picky eater, so I made a cute small butter roll lunch for him. That was the start of this ghost roll.Choose a roll that is smooth and has no dents.By making a cut in the middle of the tongue and pulling each side apart a bit, it becomes much more tongue-like.Make a not-too-scary, likable face to make your kids happy!Traditional Japanese ghosts wear little white triangles, but for Halloween, you may want to leave those off. Halloween Ghost Spice Cookies (Zimtsterne Recipe) 👻 Halloween Ghost Spice Cookies (Zimtsterne Recipe) 👻
Zimtsterne (“cinnamon star” in German) is a dense, gluten-free, cinnamon and spice cookie that is traditionally made for the Christmas season. I didn’t want to wait until Christmas to make these, so I made Halloween ghosts! The crisp, white meringue icing works perfectly for these cute little ghost treats!I’m definitely adding these to my Christmas cookie list, and will make them in the traditional star shape. They are slightly chewy with a wonderful blend of warm spices. Plus, they’re a great option for one of my friends who can’t eat dairy or gluten! 🎃Happy Halloween!! 🎃This recipe came from “Bake From Scratch.” Note that the original recipe did not make nearly enough icing, so I had to make more. I included this extra icing in the recipe below.#Holiday #Spooky #Autumn #Fall #Dessert #Fun Chris Gan -

I have made these for my little one's preschool snack. The kids loved them. It is quick and easy and turns out wonderful!! You can even use pre-cut out dough from the store and frosting or cooking glaze from the store as well in place of making it all yourself for an even easier treat. Cherie -
