tinklee @cook_3915364
Nice thing with this recipe, if its not nice enough to put on the bbq, you can put them in the oven, great either way!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat bbq or oven to 350ºF/180ºC
- 2
Shuck and clean corn
- 3
Mix butter and all other ingredients till well blended
- 4
Spread butter on corn, then seal up in foil, sealing edges real good
- 5
Cut 1 piece of foil for each ear of corn, to be able to wrap and seal each one up, once ready to bbq/bake
- 6
Place on grill/oven for 30 minutes, till corn is nice and tender
- 7
Enjoy
- 8
For cheesy corn, add shredded cheese right after you open the foil

BBQ Corn on the Cob with Husks
I saw a video on Youtube about grilling corn with the husks. I remade it using herbs that are easy to get in Japan. You can change the powdered herbs for herb flavored salt or seasoning salt. Adapt it to suit the BBQ!If you taste the sauce as it's being made, there's no way it will fail. If there isn't enough butter, you can add some olive oil.Enjoy!! For 4 husks of corn. Hokkaido-Style Corn on the Cob
Corn-on-the-cob becomes less sweet as it loses its freshness, so buy them in their husks and boil them right away. When you're tired of eating boiled corn, try this recipe. If you cook it on a grill, cleaning up is hard work, and it's much easier in a frying pan.The corn burns easily after adding the flavoring ingredients, so adjust the heat accordingly. So Sweet! Steamed Corn on the Cob
I heard that cooking corn on the cob while they're still in their husks helps to keep the sweetness from seeping out, so now I always use this method. The most important point is to steam the corn with the husks. Their sweet flavor won't escape and they will be so delicious~I think it's best to use a cast metal, non-stick pot, or an earthenware pot. Recipe by kazz72

Perfect 3-Minute Corn-on-the-Cob
This method I learned from my mother can also be applied to other uses.Since this method only uses a small amount of water, you barely need any salt. This method results in a very brightly colored and flavorful corn. Since it uses only a small amount of water with a short boiling time, it's perfect for hot summer days.See my preparation methods for edamame, fava beans, green beans, etc. It only takes between 1-4 minutes to cook this way, so it's perfect for summer vegetables. For 2 servings. Recipe by gyogyoum

How to Boil Corn on the Cob
I've been experimenting to find the ultimate way to boil corn and found that this method was most delicious. The flavor barely changes at all whether boiled with or without the husks. The benefits of boiling with the husks is that they soften which will help decrease the amount of garbage, and the threads are easier to remove.◎The texture of the corn will change depending on when you add it to the water. If you add it while the water is already boiling, it will be crunchy. If you add the corn before the water boils, it will be plump and juicy.◎The white kernel corn has a thin skin so please don't boil them for too long.◎If you soak the corn in the saltwater, it won't crinkle up. If you are not going to eat right away, cover with plastic wrap and store. Recipe by Dosankomisuzu
