Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 2 headcabbage
  2. 1 canMILD Rotel (the big thick can) or 2 small
  3. 1Yellow onion sliced
  4. 1/2-1Green Bell Pepper sliced
  5. Olive oil or butter
  6. 2Garlic-fresh cloves minced
  7. as neededSeasonings: garlic and onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, a little ole bay, celery flakes
  8. 2 packagesSmoked skinless sausage. Eckrich farm is the best!!! The only kind I use
  9. 1/4 cuplow sodium Chicken broth or stock
  10. Fresh Cilantro

Cooking Instructions

    Cut up cabbage, and rinse off. Then slice your sausage in rounds, slice your onion, and bell pepper.

    Add some olive oil in a bigger size pot, and add cabbage, onions, bell pepper. Add some seasonings, and chicken broth/stock And let cabbage cook down some.

    Once the cabbage has softened down a good bit, add Rotel, sausage, and minced garlic if using, and more seasonings. Cover with lid, and put on medium low for a little while. Add cilantro.

Does anyone know of spices I can use if have no order ion salt or Italian spices? Can I use paprika Cummin creole?
