Ingredients

  1. 2boiled potatoes
  2. 2-3 tsptomato pyre
  3. 1green chilli chopped
  4. 1 pinchhing
  5. 1 tspblack salt
  6. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1 tspdry mango powder
  10. 1 tspgaram masala
  11. 2 tspchopped green coriander leaves
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. Oil as required
  14. For kachori:
  15. 1 cupall purpose flour
  16. 1 tspoil
  17. to tasteSalt
  18. 1/2 cupurad dal(soaked in water)
  19. 1 tspdry mango powder
  20. 1 tspred chilli powder
  21. 1 tspblack salt
  22. 1 tspcoriander powder
  23. to tasteSalt
  24. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a wok,add cumin when crackle add tomato pyuri and green chilli and saute for 4-5 minutes.

    Now add all dry spices and saute for 3-4 minutes now add boiled and mashed potatoes.

    Mix well add 1 cup water,boiled for 4-5 minutes on low flame.

    Switch off the flame add chopped green coriander.

  5. 5

    Add maida, oil and salt in a mixing bowl add enough water and make a soft dough.

  6. 6

    Rest dough for 30 minutes.

    Drain the water in soaked daal,and grind the soaked daal as a paste.

    Heat oil in a pan add dry spices and daal paste and saute for 10-15 minutes on low flame.

    Roll the puri from the dough,and fill the daal mixture and make a kachori.

    Heat oil in wok,add kachori and deep fry till the golden brown on low flame.

    Serve hot with aalu sabzi,raita and tamarind chutney.
