Cooking Instructions
- 1
Rinse your dethawed pork roast and trim any fat.
- 2
Place everything [other than optional items] in a crock pot and cook 4 hours on high to 7+ hours on low or medium.
- 3
Once cooked, drain juices in a strainer and place meat back in your crock pot. Reserve any drained juices for a kick ass French Dip Au Jus sauce for the following day! Just substitute any leftover broth for the water called for on your Au Jus packet. Listed below is my recipe for Super Easy French Dip Sandwiches.

Add 1/2 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's [more or less if you prefer] and shread meat with 2 forks. Pull any fat you may see.
- 5
Serve atop thick Ciabatta Bread or, most any sturdy bun. Remember, your bun will need to support heavy meat, cole slaw and pickles.

Tigers Sauce also goes great on these and what a delicious difference it makes! ♡ Three parts sour cream to one part horseradish is all it takes! Serve communal style if you'd like.

BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich
Easy to prepare in the oven, in lieu of using an outdoor smoker. However, an outdoor grill to start the pork cooking process is key to get a slight smoked taste. This meal yields enough for a small group gathering. Rick M -

BBQ Pulled Pork Dinner Bake & Sandwiches BBQ Pulled Pork Dinner Bake & Sandwiches
This is a good recipe if you're tired of the same old plain shredded beef sandwiches. It's also good in the fall when there is an abundance of squash, cranberries, and warm casseroles being made.😏👌 Good for the whole family in one dish! Perfect for #fridgecleanout shredded beef or veggies or Thanksgiving #leftoversmakeovers ! 👏 (Note: If your cranberry sauce is already made it cuts the time by 20-30mins.😉) Chef Mommy Nessa -
Mike's BBQ Chicken Sandwiches Mike's BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
This juicy, lip smackingly sweet, tangy BBQ chicken breast sandwich on freshly baked Ciabatta bread was created by one of my youngest eight year old students. Between the fresh baked bread, the chilled firm vegetables, and the contrast of the sweet sauce and tartness of the peppers and pickles - all made for one delicious sandwich! Her choice of salt and vinager potato chips were a great pairing as well! MMOBRIEN -

Mike's [2 Way] Green Chile Pulled Pork Sandwiches & Stew Mike's [2 Way] Green Chile Pulled Pork Sandwiches & Stew
Here in New Mexico, we put spicy Hatch Green Chilies in literally almost everything we eat and, usually wrap them up in warm, fresh flour tortillas. Hell, I'm surprised we haven't invented green chile pancakes or ice cream with them at this point. Yup. We're all that addicted. Even the kiddos.Anyway, my 7 to 8 year old students absolutely adore Spicy Southern BBQ Pulled Pork as well as Green Chile Stew. With that, I charged them today with creating a Mexican Green Chile Pulled Pork dish all by themselves. Well, they couldn't decide if they wanted sandwiches or stew so together, they compromised. Both dishes were made from the same green chile batch. This is such an easy recipe, know my students all ate hot dogs and hamburgers and, played endless Marco Polo in the pool while their pork roast slowly simmered away. Taking breaks only to layer their scrumptious dishes. So darned cute! ♡You do have the option of serving this dish wet or dry. Depending upon the amount of broth you add to it. If serving on the wet side - like a stew - use flour tortillas to dip in it. Dry, on the other hand, works with just about anything.Put this [dry] deliciously spicy, flavorful meat in flour or corn tortillas, on tacos, tortas, tostadas, in rolled deep fried taquitos, burritos, sopes, with tortilla chips, enchiladas, chimichangas or even on buns. This really is one heck of a versatile recipe!Created, documented and photographed solely by my imaginative, brilliant, adventurous, adorable, tiny little students! I swear - KIDS ROCK! MMOBRIEN
