Ingredients

15- 20 mins
  1. 250 gmsMethi
  2. 1 cuppeas(peeled)
  3. 1/2 cupfresh cream(I used homemade cream)
  4. 1big sized tomato
  5. 1onion
  6. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  7. Salt to salt
  8. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tsphaldi powder
  10. To tastesalt
  11. For garam masala(1 elaichi 1 long 1" cinnamon) crushed
  12. 2-3pepper corns crushed
  13. 1-2green chillies
  14. 2 tspmagaz or kaju paste(melon seeds or cashew paste)
  15. 2 tbspoil
  16. Pinchhing(asafetida)
  17. 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  18. 1 tspcoriander powder
  19. Little sugar

Cooking Instructions

15- 20 mins
  1. 1

    Take a pan and add water when the water starts boiling add methi and peas keep it for 2-3 mins in medium flame then strain the water and keep the methi and peas aside.

    Now grind the tomato, onion and green chilies and keep aside

  3. 3

    Heat oil in another pan add hing then add cumin seeds add tomato and onion paste, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder haldi and red chilli powder

    Stir continuously until the raw smells disappears.Add crushed peppers and garam masala

  5. 5

    When the masala leaves the oil add malai or fresh cream

  6. 6

    Then add salt and little sugar.

    Keep the Flame low and let it cook for 4-5 mins

    Your yummy and tasty Meethi matar malai is ready
