Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupbutter
  2. 1/2 cupmilk
  3. 2 tspyeast
  4. 2eggs
  5. 2/3 cupssugar
  6. 3 cupsflour
  7. Lemon zest
  8. Egg wash

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the milk and butter till it melts. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves then let it cool.

    Mix the dry ingredients yeast, flour, and lemon zest, then add eggs and mix well.

    Add the mixture of butter and milk. Knead hard to activate the yeast.

    Put your dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen cloth and let it proof for 30 to 45 minutes.

    Deflate the dough by punching it.

    Flour your surface area, roll the dough and cut

    Knead to form strip like shape.

    Twist the stiped like dough and form a circle.

    Brush the dough with egg wash.

    Place your dough on a baking sheet and put it in a pre heated oven at 180° and let them bake for 20-25 minutes till browns.
