My Version of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts My Version of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
I tried many different combinations to make these and finally arrived at these Krispy Kreme-style doughnuts.Shaping them takes practice! At first I tried over and over to make them. They will be slightly wonky, but that is proof that they are homemade!Of course you can use butter or shortening instead of margarine. If you use unsalted butter or shortening, increase the salt to 4g.In step 3, I used a small amount of flour. Melt-in-Your-Mouth Fluffy Doughnuts Melt-in-Your-Mouth Fluffy Doughnuts
I fervently wanted to eat doughnuts from a certain famous store chain...Since the ingredients are so close to what it takes to make bread, it's very fluffy. The dough is very soft, so when you go to fry it, put it gently into the pan.I wanted to make them slightly chewy and sticky so I tried using rice flour. However the texture turned out to be too hard, so I recommend you use bread flour. For 8 doughnuts. Recipe by sayata cookpad.japan -
Baked Doughnuts Baked Doughnuts
These are simply so good and just as delicious as fried doughnuts. This is a keeper for all your doughnut cravings and they go well with pretty much any toppings or stuffings. They do take a while to make as they are yeast doughnuts but they are more than worth it.If using active dry yeast, add to the wet ingredients and let sit for about 10 minutes before adding to the dry ingredients. Also, I made these in the evening so excuse me for the bad camera quality.
