Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlblack urad dal
  2. 2onions
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  5. 2green chillies
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  11. Pinchhing
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. as neededOil

Cooking Instructions

    Clean and soak dal for 1/2 hour.

    Now add in a presser cooker and boiled it.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan add hing and cumin seeds when crackle add chopped onion and saute it.

    Add ginger garlic paste,green chilli,tomato puree and masale except garam masala.

  5. 5

    Saute this masala till leave the oil,add boiled dal cook on low flame for 15 minutes.

    Now add garam masala and green coriander.

  7. 7

    Serve with rice/roti.
