Cooking Instructions

Boil all the pulses together in a pressure cooker.wait for three whistle.add some salt and turmeric powder.

Add oil to pan. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds.

Add chopped onion and ginger.cook until it becomes pink.

Add chopped tomatoes. Cook for a while.

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt to taste.

Add this mixture to boiled dal.mix well.

Garnish with fresh green coriander leaves.
- 8
Serve with chapatti.
