Ingredients

  1. 1 kgBasmati rice
  2. 500 gmsmeat
  3. 3large onions
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. Pilau masala
  6. Veg oil
  7. Water
  8. Crushed garlic
  9. Crushed ginger
  10. sticksCinnamon
  11. Cumin seeds
  12. podsCardamom

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the meat with little water

  2. 2

    In a a sizable pan,put oil and add the onion rings

  3. 3

    Let the onions fry until golden brown,then add the crushed garlic and ginger.

  4. 4

    Add the boiled meat, all the spices and stir until its dry and abit hardened

  5. 5

    Add Washed rice and stir for a while it should look like this

  6. 6

    Add water 11/2 the container you have used to measure the rice with.

  7. 7

    Cover and let it cook.

  8. 8

    When ready serve with kachumbari and pepper sauce.
