'Russian' Cookies

Quick, easy and only 4 ingredients. I got this recipe from a coworker. They are like snowball cookies, but her mom apparently always called them "Russian Cookies" when she was growing up. Makes 20 small cookies.
You can substitute other nuts for the almonds or walnuts. Note, this recipe uses a food processor.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
- 2
Cut the butter into small cubes. Put butter, powdered sugar, nuts and flour in a food processor.
- 3
Blend in the food processor until clumps start to form (about 1 minute). Be careful not to over mix or the dough will become sticky.
- 4
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Form the dough into about 20 cookies about 2.5 cm (1 inch) round. Arrange them on the baking sheet.
- 5
Bake in your preheated oven for 18-20 minutes. When they are just beginning to brown a little, they are finished.
- 6
Let the cookies cool before dusting with powdered sugar. You can dust with a fine sieve or place the cookies along some sugar in a plastic baggie and shake. Plain is fine too!

Mexican Wedding Cookies Mexican Wedding Cookies
These have a light and delicate texture! My family has been using this recipe for 20 years. We make them often during the Christmas season. This is the Mexican style version with pecan nuts. I heard this cookie is given to guests as gifts at Mexican weddings. The name for "snowball cookies" vary depending on the type of nut used. If pecans are used, it's Mexican, and if it's almonds, it's Russian. With walnuts, and with pistachios ... Sorry, I forgot all the names!I use the food processor to chop the nuts. I use my hands to combine the flour with the chopped nuts to prevent lumps. If it is difficult to roll the dough into balls, squeezing them tightly may work. I use whatever nuts are available at home: pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc. There are also recipes with hazelnuts and pistachio. Make delicious cookies with your favorite nuts. I used a US measuring cup (1 cup = 240 ml). Recipe by Mama Imani. cookpad.japan -

Diamants (Diamond Cookies) Diamants (Diamond Cookies)
I love "diamants" cookies, which are redolent with the fragrance of butter.I wanted to make crispier but still rich cookies with a gentle mild flavor, so I created this recipe. The dough is soft before it has rested in the refrigerator, so dust your work surface a lot of flour when you shape it.Don't overmix the dough at the step 5. It can be a bit flour-y at this stage. Recipe by Kyansama cookpad.japan -

Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies
I love snowball cookies with almonds inside, and so the amount of almonds I added to the cookie gradually escalated. I finally reached a point where the almonds wouldn't fit anymore. The slight sweetness of the powdered sugar and almonds tastes delicious. There are a lot of almonds mixed in so the dough is prone to crumbling while shaping. Squeeze the dough tightly with your fingers. The salt content of the butter differs depending on the brand, so whenever you use salted butter, and also when you think the almonds taste too salty, wipe off the salt with a kitchen towel.
