Braised Wilted Chard Braised Wilted Chard
Eating green vegetables can sometimes get monotonous, but this dish excites even the pickiest eaters. The bacon & sunflower seeds add some fat & flavor to help cut the bitterness of the chard. It's so yummy, I usually have to make double so everyone can get enough! Yeah, I'm talking about swiss chard - not cake. Hope you enjoy it too. Devon -

Greek Bean Soup with a twist (Fasolada) Greek Bean Soup with a twist (Fasolada)
Yesterday, was a bit of a chilly day in the Netherlands, so I decided to make this soup which is a favorite of mine. This soup is usually eaten during the winter time, so when you come home from that snowy or rainy day you want to have something warm to eat. You can always make this soup in advance and keep it in the freezer, all you do is warm it up and enjoy. :) The twist to my soup is that I add bacon, :) and with the oregano it gives it a rustic - spicy taste. I am a person who enjoys trying new things, so I often make this soup during the summer season, and eat it cold, like a salad. :) Foodzesty -
Poquito Picante Hot Sauce by Boca de Fogo Poquito Picante Hot Sauce by Boca de Fogo
I am so happy that I finally nailed an everyday SoCal taco shop red hot sauce! For a while I've been trying different things to get that taste that I grew up with in Southern California's taco shops and I just seem to miss something every time. But not this time! This is a medium red sauce so everyone should be able to handle the heat level and it has a very unique, almost sweet taste mixing habanero and serrano peppers. I hope you enjoy! Boca de Fogo -
