Ingredients

  1. 2 cuprice flour
  2. 2 cupwater
  3. 1 tspghee
  4. Salt to taste
  5. For stuffing :-
  6. 1 cupgrated fresh coconut
  7. 1/2 cupjaggery
  8. 3/4 tsp cardamon / nutmeg powder
  9. few dropsFor colour :- green and orange food colour

Cooking Instructions

    For stuffing :- heat a pan add jaggery, coconut, cardamon / nutmeg powder and mix it well and keep aside

    Take a pan add water and pinch of salt, ghee, after boil add rice flour and stir continously without any lumps and turn of flame

    Cover the lid let the steam for 5 min after 5 mins mix it nicely with hands take ghee and mix it nicely

    Divide ata into three part in one part add orange colour and make a soft dough and knead for few minutes and keep aside repeat for orange colour and third portion is left plain

    Take into all colours dough small size ball shape flatten with fingers stuff with mix mixture with spoon in the centre.

    Fold the wrap to halfhand pinch the corner hold on side of wrap from the centre and fold like plates till u complete the circle press all the together and twist

    Arrange them on inch a part and steam for 7-8 minutes

    Tricolor modak is redy
