This is my first post on Cookpad, so nothing can be better than Bappa's prasad.
Steps

Take a heavy bottomed kadhai.
Put 2 cup water, ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp ghee.
When it's start boiling, add 2 cup rice flour.
Mix well till water gets soaked in flour.
Put the flame off. - 2
Remove in a broad thali, Knead till soft dough, if require apply little ghee on your palms.
It is compulsory to Knead the dough when it is hot. - 3
In a pan add 2 tbsp ghee now add 1½ cup gudd.
Keep stirring till gudd dissolves.
Now add 2 cup fresh grated coconut.
Keep stirring evenly, till it becomes thick.
Avoid sticking.
Lastly add 1 tsp cardamon powder.
Put off the gas let cool in room temperature. - 4
Now make small thin puri from this dough, place some saran according to your modak size.
Give the shape of the modak. - 5
Keep water for boiling and keep modaks for steam like idli for 20 mints.
Relish your modak with your bappa
