Poha cutlet is a very delicious snack and is very easy to make. So, today, I will share a very simple recipe for poha cutlets.

It is easy to make and even easier to eat. It can be served for brunch or as a starter. It is made from boiled potatoes, soaked poha, carrots, and paneer. A cutlet is loved by everyone who hates to have veggies like spinach, peas, and capsicum which can be added to the cutlet. It can be served with pudina chutney, tamarind chutney, or tomato sauce.This is amazing cutlets to serve guest as stater.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 cupPoha
  2. 2Boil potato (peeled and mash)
  3. 1/2 cupCottage cheese (paneer grated)
  4. 1Carrot (peeled and grated)
  5. 1 tablespoonGinger and garlic paste
  6. as neededCoriander leaves
  7. 1Onion (optional)
  8. 1 teaspoonChaat masala
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  11. 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  12. 1 teaspoonDry mango powder
  13. 1/2 tablespoonLemon juice
  14. 2-3 tablespoonCorn flour
  15. as neededSesame seeds for coating
  16. as neededOil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take poha, rinse it, and soak the poha in water for 2 minutes.

    Then, drain all water and soak poha for 10 minutes.

    In a bowl, add soaked poha, boiled potatoes, grated carrots, grated paneer, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander.

    Also add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, chaat masala, and lemon juice.

    Mix everything very well, add corn flour and mix again.

    Shape into small cutlets and as you like.

    Now, coat the cutlet in sesame seeds or bread crumbs and keep aside for 2 minutes.

    Now, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the cutlets until they become golden brown.

    Cutlets are ready to eat.

    You can also shallow fry or pan fry. Your cutlets are then ready to eat. Serve with green chutney, tamarind chutney, or sauce.
