Cooking Instructions

Wash the potatoes, and boil them in a little water. You can decide to boil with the peelings, or peel the potatoes then boil them. When they are ready, drain off excess water, and cut them in to preferable sizes.

Mix flour, a little bit of salt, water, and add in the yellow food color. The consistency of the batter should not be running, or too thick.

Put in the pieces of potatoes in the batter, and mix in together.

Heat oil in a pan, and carefully drop the potatoes mixed in batter in the heated oil. Let them cook on one side, and turn to cook on the other side until you get them to be crispy.

Remove the potatoes and drain excess oil in a colander.

Serve the potatoes warm with salad, some ketchup or ukwaju(tamarind), or chutney. Recipes will be up soon for these.
