Ingredients

  1. 1 cupPoha (flatten rice)
  2. 1onion finely chopped
  3. For tempering :
  4. 3 tbspoil
  5. 1 tspmustard seeds
  6. 1 tspcummin seeds
  7. 1 pinchasafoetida (hing)
  8. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  9. leavesFew curry
  10. 2-3green chillies slitted
  11. For seasoning:
  12. 2 tspsugar powder
  13. 1/2lemon juice
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. For garnish :
  16. as requiredFinely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  17. 2 tbsproasted or fried peanuts

Cooking Instructions

    Wash poha with water in strainer. Keep aside for 10 mins.Keep all required ingredients ready.

    In nonstick pan add heat oil,add mustard seeds and cumin seeds,as they splutter,add asafoetida, turmeric powder curry leaves and chopped onion,mix and saute for few minutes.

    Add & mix salt, sugar powder and lemon juice in soften poha. Now add this poha in soften onion,mix well. Off the flame. Add & mix roasted/ fried peanuts.

    In serving bowl, put two-three laddleful of prepared Kanda Poha, garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
