Ingredients

12 rolls
  1. 2table spoons active dry yeast
  2. 1/4 cupwarm water
  3. 2table spoons sugar
  4. 2 cupsall purpose flour and extra more flour for kneading
  5. 1/2 cupmilk
  6. 2 tablespoonsmargarine
  7. 1/2 teaspoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add yeast warm water and sugar and let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes

    Add 1 cup flour, margarine, salt, milk and knead if using a mixer fitted with dough hooks beat for 3 minutes

  3. 3

    Add the additional 1 cup flour and beat the mixture for 3 minutes until the mixture becomes a ball like shape

    Flour your working surface and scrape your dough on the work surface and using the heel of your hand knead the dough for about 5 minutes and then place it in a greased bowl and let it sit in a warm place for 30 minutes until it doubles in size and cover it with a damp towel

    Grease an 8 inch tin and divide ths dough into equal balls and then place them in a warm place for 30 minutes

    Preheat your oven to 150°c and then place the tin into the oven for 25-30 minutes until the rolls are brown and well cooked

  7. 7

    Apply margarine on the surface as soon as you have removed them from the oven and then enjoy.
