A great way to make your guacamole go further on a budget. And it does not take away from the taste! This pic was taken the next day so the mix is not a bright green. Unfortunately this is one dish that does not refrigerate for long. So fresh is best make only what you think you will use in one day. Charlene Cox -
Guacamole Guacamole
This is guacamole done my way. There are many variations of this recipe. I like it blended because I don't care for chunks of raw onion, but I enjoy the flavor an onion adds. I like jalapenos for flavor and some heat. The "heat" will vary depending on the variety of jalapeno, it's maturity, and how it was grown. sandra53 -

This is the best recipe for guacamole ... at home when I was young, I lived with my parents, I worked and rested half a day on Thursdays and Sundays, but on Thursday I always liked to make some food or snacks, that I wanted, and I prepared this delicious guacamole, and my mother left me ... “that's fine, She said, if you prepare for your brothers too” and then I made some golden tortilla chips or homemade toast and I remember when my mother tried it she said to me "today you did more tasty" !!! that's why when I prepare certain meals they remind me of my mother. On Thursday, April 23, it was a year since she died, but I keep many good things, which I learned from her. Chelito Rodriguez -

Green Paradise (aka Guacamole) Green Paradise (aka Guacamole)
There are only a few things closer to heaven on earth than a batch of fresh, creamy guacamole! This version uses pickled jalapeños, which are milder than fresh ones.TIP: do not serve in a metallic bowl or plate, as it will sour the avocados. If possible, use a bowl made of wood or another organic material (bamboo, etc.) Felix Cortes -
