Falafel wrap / Mediterranean bowl / platter from the middle East

Ingredients

  1. For Salad
  2. 1/2 cupfresh lettuce roughly torn
  3. 1/2 cuptomato slices (lengthwise cutting)
  4. 1/2 cuponion slice (lengthwise cutting)
  5. 1/2 cupcucumber slice (lengthwise cutting)
  6. 1/3 cupchopped Coriendar
  7. 1 tbsplemon juice
  8. 1 tspolive oil
  9. As per taste Salt
  10. 1 pinchblack pepper powder
  11. To Assemble
  12. 6-9pita bread
  13. 8-10falafel
  14. Less than a half cup tahini paste
  15. Less than a half cup hummus
  16. 1/2 cupgarlic sauce
  17. 1/2 cuphot sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Combine all the ingredients for salad and refrigerate until use.

    For Mediterranean bowl, cut pita into small pieces in a plate. Roughly break falafel in it. Add salad and the sauces as per your taste. Combine everything and enjoy!

    For a platter, cut pita in triangular shape. In a plate arrange pita at the rim. Spread salad on the other side. Arrange falafel and the sauces. You may also serve sauces in individual bowls and give pita, salad and falafel separately.

    For falafel wrap, heat up pitas and cut in the middle. Hold a slice like a pocket and apply the sauces on the walls of it. Stuff in the salad and the pieces of falafel. Top up with more sauces. Enjoy!
