Ingredients

  1. Left over upma / rice item
  2. 1 tbspChilli powder
  3. 1/2 sliceLemon
  4. To tasteSalt
  5. 3/4 th cup Chiroti Rava
  6. 1/4 th cup Maida
  7. As requiredOil

Cooking Instructions

    Take left over upma or any other rice items like lemon rice, Veg pulav, poha etc. add chilli powder, lemon juice, salt and mix well. If you are using rice item other than upma then grind the complete mixture in mixer.

    Mix maida, Chirotti Rava, little water and oil. Knead the soft dough and keep it aside for an hour.

    After an hour take an oil paper and apply oil all over the oil paper through your palm. Take little amount of dough, oil and tap it round. Place the upma mixture on top of the dough. Close the dough in all sides.

    Reverse it upside down and add few drops of oil and tap it round. Place it on hot tawa and roast it on both the sides and serve with ghee/butter/ketchup.
