Macrobiotic Pound Cake Macrobiotic Pound Cake
I posted this recipe for my own reference. I wanted to eat a sweet snack that leaves me feeling full. The popular version of this pound cake uses a ripe banana. If the banana is a little hard, microwave it a bit before mashing it.If the sweetness of the banana alone is enough, omit the sugar.Use your choice of dried fruit. (Raisins, figs, etc.)You can substitute cake flour for the whole wheat flour, and regular milk for the soy milk. Recipe by Kamiko cookpad.japan -
Macrobiotic Banana Pound Cake With Rice Flour & Tofu Macrobiotic Banana Pound Cake With Rice Flour & Tofu
I wanted to make my favorite banana cake for a friend who is allergic to wheat. I tried various recipes, and finally came up with this delicious banana cake; so I posted the recipe. This cake uses the moisture of the tofu and banana, so there's no need for milk. You can also use maple syrup instead of honey, and kabocha squash instead of bananas. In Step 5, if you use a hand mixer from the start, the rice flour will splatter. Mix the ingredients together with a rubber spatula first, then switch to a hand mixer. The baking time may vary depending on your oven. After 30 minutes, if the cake looks like the top is getting too brown, cover it with foil. Recipe by fincafe cookpad.japan -
Cafe-Style Banana Cake Cafe-Style Banana Cake
The banana cake that I ate in a cafe had a delicious flaky texture and wondered if I could recreate that at home. The cake I ate at the cafe came with caramel cream but I'm more of a caramel sauce kind of person. If you don't have a food processor, you can mash the bananas up with a fork. When you are making the caramel, the mixture will sputter when you add the last lot of water, so be careful. Make sure to chill the sauce well once you've made it. Recipe by Raby cookpad.japan
