Lassi is a popular dahi / yogurt based drink that originated in the Indian subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yogurt , spices and some times fruits.I have used Alphonso mangoes for lassi.

Ingredients

  1. 2medium size Alphonso mangoes
  2. 2 cupfull cream yogurt / dahi
  3. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  4. 4-5 tbspsugar
  5. 2 tspghee
  6. 1/4 tspginger powder

Cooking Instructions

    Peel 2 medium size mangoes and chop them.

  2. 2

    Add the chopped mangoes in a blender. To this add 2 cups yogurt sugar, cardamom powder. Blend for some seconds till everything is mixed well.

    The mixture looks creamy and smooth.

  4. 4

    Now add tsp cow ghee and blend for a second. The mixture becomes smooth. (adding ghee is optional)

    Mango lassi is ready to serve.

    Pour in glasses. Mango lassi can be served immediately or you can garnish with some dry fruits.
