Ingredients

3 to 4 servings
  1. 500 gramscabbage
  2. 1medium sized potato
  3. 1large Onion
  4. 2medium sized Tomatoes
  5. 1 spoonjeera
  6. 1 spooncrushed dried methi
  7. 2 spoonsGinger garlic paste
  8. 1 spoonChilli powder
  9. 1 spooncoriander powder
  10. 1/2 spoongaram masala
  11. 1/2 spoonturmeric powder
  12. As per taste Salt
  13. 2 tbspoil
  14. As needed Coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add Oil to a pan and add 1 spoon of jeera and 1 spoon of crushed dried methi and let it splutter. Do not burn

    Add chopped onions and fry till golden

  3. 3

    Add 2 spoons ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes off

  4. 4

    Add chopped tomatoes and required salt and cook till tomatoes turn mushy

  5. 5

    Add chopped potatoes, cover and cook till potatoes are half cooked

  6. 6

    Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and saute till raw smell goes off

  7. 7

    Add chopped cabbage and coat them with the masala and cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium low heat by stirring occasionally.

    Add 1/2 spoon garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Roti, chapathi.etc
