Ingredients

  1. 2medium sized potato
  2. 8medium sized parwal
  3. 2medium sized onion chopped
  4. 2tomatoes chopped
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  6. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tspchilli powder
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspcumin powder
  10. 1 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  12. as neededchopped coriander leaves
  13. 5 tbspOil
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. as neededWater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and peel potatoes and parwals.cut into medium sized pieces.

    Heat oil in a pan.Fry them for 4-5 minutes.

    In the same pan add oil. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.

    Add chopped onions and fry them until turns golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste,salt and turmeric powder.Saute for 2-3 minutes.

    Add chilli powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder.Saute for 2 minutes.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until oil separates from masala.

    Add fried potatoes and parwals.Saute for two more minutes.

    Add water as per required gravy.cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.

    Add garam masala and garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
